Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of payroll administration or analyst experience working with multiple states across the U.S.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure accurate and timely processing of multi-state payrolls by verifying time and attendance records, reviewing and processing payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments, and ensuring accurate calculations of gross pay, overtime, deductions, taxes, and benefits\nMaintain accurate and complete payroll records while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies\nPrepare, reconcile, and distribute payroll reports and data feeds to internal stakeholders, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and proper formatting\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholding requirements, wage and hour laws, and company policies\nInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, record inconsistencies, and employee inquiries related to payroll payments, deductions, taxes, and year-end tax documents\nCollaborate closely with Human Resources, Accounting, Benefits, and other departments to resolve payroll issues and ensure accurate employee data management\nSupport internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and reports as needed\nParticipate in year-end payroll activities, including payroll reconciliations and preparation of W-2 forms and other required tax reporting\nAssist with the administration, testing, enhancement, and implementation of payroll systems, upgrades, and process improvements\nIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiencies\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned\nQualifications\nEducation Required:\nBachelor's degree \nCertified Payroll Professional is a plus\nExperience Required:\n5+ years of payroll experience as an administrator or analyst in a multi-state environment\nThorough knowledge of payroll processes, payroll taxation, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements for multi-state and multi-jurisdictional payroll environments\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills\nHigh attention to detail\nAbility to handle sensitive employee information with the highest degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and
