This is the entry/trainee level Assembler.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms routine assembly tasks working directly with a trainer, such as:Assembles electrical and mechanical components.\nPackages products while maintaining quality and productivity standards.\nWater Spider (inventory movement support): facilitates workflow,including stocking bins, pallets, cardboard, and general material handling.\n\nFrequently operates tools/equipment such as hand tools, pneumatics tools, testing equipment, and fixtures, while using required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.\nRoutinely follows work and test instructions to perform tasks. May troubleshoot and repair assemblies as necessary, referring situations outside of instruction to the trainer, unit specialist or supervisor.\nAchieves and maintains established safety, quality, and productivity standards. Must not pose a risk to self or others.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English with a demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions.\nMust possess basic computer skills.\nAble to perform basic math calculations.\nMust be able to troubleshoot problems when necessary.\nMust be able to operate the required hand tools and fixtures.\nEducation and Experience\nPrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds with or without assistance on a routine basis. Must have manual hand dexterity to grasp, operate tools and equipment repetitively. Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift.
