Oversees production across sub-assembly, final assembly, and packaging processes, ensuring alignment of people, processes, materials, and equipment to meet operational goals. Drives operational performance through leadership, process discipline, workforce management, and continuous improvement.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead daily assembly operations, ensuring execution of production plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nCoordinate workflow across sub-assembly, final assembly, and packaging work cells to maintain throughput and on-time delivery.\nEnsure operational readiness, including materials, tools, fixtures, staffing, and process capability.\nMonitor and drive performance through KPIs (such as; safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and attendance); communicate results and take corrective action.\nIdentify and resolve operational issues related to workflow, materials, quality, staffing, and equipment; escalate systemic issues as needed.\nLead, coach, and develop team members, support performance management, training, onboarding, and employee engagement.\nManage workforce administration, including timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling to meet production requirements.\nPartner cross-functionally and with HR to address employee relations, staffing needs, and operational challenges.\nEnsure adherence to standard work, quality requirements, safety practices, and regulatory standards.\nDrive continuous improvement using lean principles, support cost control, waste reduction, and process efficiency.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nThorough knowledge of manufacturing operations, assembly processes, and production workflows.\nIn-depth knowledge of material flow, work cell coordination, and production execution.\nWorking knowledge of ERP, MES, and shop-floor systems.\nWorking knowledge of safety practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.\nProven ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced production environment.\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.\nEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to analyze performance data and drive corrective actions.\nProficiency in standard computer and business systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and support a multi-shift environment.\nEducation and Experience\n3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.\n1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.\nExperience in assembly, final assembly, or related production processes preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting multi-cell or complex assembly operations.\nExperience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.\nCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related discipline.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds with or without assistance on a routine basis. Must have manual hand dexterity to grasp, operate tools and equipment repetitively. Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift.
