Our promise is to provide outstanding service as it remains to be our first and foremost mission.\nPosition Summary:\nThe AR Auditor is responsible for handling multiple daily reports in order to credit qualify Customers, confirm billing information and ensure invoicing accuracy. The AR Auditor also provides Collection & Admin support to the AR Team.\nThe responsibilities of the position include, butarenot limited to:\nReview daily shipments that do not meet approved credit criteria and identify accounts that need to be linked to valid accounts. Update the current shipment and the customer masterfile to prevent recurrence of the issue.\nDistribute the Driver Collect report to the team upon audit completion.\nMake arrangements for customers who do not meet credit criteria to pay in advance of shipment completion.\nAdvise the assigned AR Representative of any Bad Credit shipments which need to be\nContact customers for proper billing instructions and shipment terms verification.\nEvaluate credit worthiness of new and existing accounts by reviewing payment trends, credit reports, credit references, and the internet. Update the credit information in the customer masterfile and properly document notes in the system.\nCommunicate with the appropriate Partner Carrier when a billing discrepancy exists on an interline s\nFollow up as needed to resolve any discrepancies prior to\nUpdate the customer masterfile as it relates to loading of billto accounts per information provided by Sales, Pricing, Customers and AR representatives\nWork with AR and Billing Leadership to set up customer specific audits when\nScan pertinent billing information into AR files.\nMonitor incoming correspondence from internal and external customers, either handling or directing to the appropriate team or AR team member for\nInteract with multiple internal teams in order to research and resolve Customer\nAssist AR Leadership with reporting, projects and process improvement initiatives\nAdditional responsibilities as\n\nTo be qualified for this position, you should possess the following:\nHS Diploma or equivalent\n3-5 years experience in Billing, Collections or Customer Service\nProficiency in Direct Bill & Freight Payment collections for proper understanding of Customer billing requirements.\nStrong analytical and time management skills\nProfessional written and verbal communication skills\nKnowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word\nAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail\n\nFor a full job description associated with this posting, please contact A.
