Near a Legence office (occasional travel may be required)\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior ERP Engineer to own and manage our Deltek Vantagepoint and Trimble Spectrum environments. This role is critical to the success of our engineering and mechanical services organization, serving as the primary technical resource for ERP system administration, reporting, configuration, user management, upgrades, and audit support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across all levels of the organization, and is committed to delivering high-quality results within demanding project timelines.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSystem Administration & Configuration\nServe as the primary administrator for Deltek Vantagepoint and Trimble\nSpectrum ERP platforms, ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and availability.\nConfigure and maintain modules including Project Management, Accounting,\nProcurement, Timekeeping, and HR/Payroll to align with business processes and compliance requirements.\nDesign, implement, and maintain system integrations between Vantagepoint,\nSpectrum, and other enterprise tools (e.g., payroll processors, CRM, document management systems).\nManage and enforce system security settings, roles, and data access controls in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.\nReporting & Business Intelligence\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize custom reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL.\nWrite and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation across ERP databases.\nPartner with Finance, Project Management, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into accurate, actionable reports.\nCreate and manage ad hoc reports for executive leadership, auditors, and project managers as needed.\nEstablish and maintain a standardized reporting library and ensure data integrity across all report outputs.\nUser Management & Support\nManage user provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignments, and access permissions across all ERP modules.\nProvide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end users, resolving ERP-related issues in a timely manner.\nAct as the escalation point for complex ERP issues, coordinating with Deltek support, Trimble support, and third-party vendors when necessary.\nUpgrades, Patches & System Lifecycle\nPlan, test, and execute Deltek Vantagepoint and Trimble Spectrum version upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and service packs in coordination with IT leadership.\nMaintain non-production environments (development, test, staging) to support upgrade validation and configuration testing.\nDevelop and maintain upgrade runbooks, test plans, rollback procedures, and change management documentation.\nStay current with Deltek and Trimble product roadmaps, release notes, and industry best practices to proactively recommend system improvements.\nAudit Support & Compliance\nServe as the primary ERP technical resource during internal and external audits (financial, operational, and compliance audits).\nPrepare, extract, and validate data and system reports required by auditors on tight timelines.\nEnsure ERP configurations, access controls, and transactional workflow comply with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.\nProject Delivery & Collaboration\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, HR, Engineering,\nProject Controls, and Executive Leadership.\nCommunicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly and consistently to technical and non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrate a strong sense of urgency and accountability when working under tight project deadlines.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field\n5+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring ERP systems in a professional services, engineering, or construction environment.\nExperience with any major ERP platform (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint, Trimble Spectrum, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is required;
