Smith.\nConstructs high quality custom commercial water heaters, boilers, and pool heaters. Assembles such items as fans, gas trains, sheet metal parts, heat exchangersand other assemblies.\nResponsibilities\nVerifies the information on the work order header is correct such as BOM part numbers, quantities, and consuming locations. Followsprocedures to see that info gets corrected.\nCompletes assembly of the components perthe instructions, drawingand quality standards. Inspects components for fit, formand function per defined procedures.\nUsing a variety of hand tools, assembles outer casings, control housings, flanges, mounts piping, pumpsand flow switches.\nInstalls wiring, including the wiring of pumps, panelsand other options, according to the work order.\nCrates completed units and attaches shipping labels.\nQualifications\nExperience: Manufacturing experience preferred\nComputer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and navigation is required.\n\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.\nMust wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.\nProlonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nThe employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.\nThe employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.\nThe employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell.\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance\nUse of wrenching, impacting, and/or vibrating tools (manual and automatic) is required occasionally for extended periods of time.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.\nADA Statement & EEO Statement\nIn developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
