Supervises and coordinates activities of Leaders and workers. Verifies correct manufacturing processes are adhered to. Works with other operators, engineers and quality personnel to identify and resolve potential customer issues.\n2nd Shift Schedule: Working hours from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.\nResponsibilities\nInterpret and enforce company policies and procedures to Leaders and Operators.\nResponsible for establishing a safe workplace through employee involvement.\nNotify Human Resources of emergencies and employees needing first aid.\nInvestigate all injuries; provide support on implementation of suggested corrective procedures.\nInitiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.\nResponsible for timely notification of scheduled hours to leaders and employees.\nResponsible for completing employee time, absenteeism, and vacation paperwork or systems in a timely manner.\nDevelop and promote positive relations with employees through effective communication of company policies and procedures.\nResponsible for investigating conflicts and the discipline of personnel within the Manufacturing Department.\nResponsible for coordination and implementation of the cross training program, the manufacturing training program and departmental rotation plans.\nAnalyze and resolve work problems, or assist Leaders in solving work problems.\nInspect products to verify conformance to specifications; analyze all nonconformances for root cause and implement corrective procedures.\nConfer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.\nStudy production schedules, estimate man-hours requirements for completion of job assignment and make appropriate action plans.\nResponsible for timely completion of all manufacturing production schedules including subassemblies, service requirements, and other department requests.\nResponsible for product quality in accordance with established Company guidelines and / or specifications.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, preferred\n3+ years of related work experience or training\n2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience\nExperience in manufacturing and supervision\nAbility to prepare and interpret various metrics, and reports\nAbility to identify problems and take appropriate corrective measures\nEffective communication skills via written and oral\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.\nProficient mathematical skills\nValid Drivers License\nWe Offer\nCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plans which include medical and dental insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, retirement security savings plan, short- and long-term disability programs and tuition assistance.\nADA Statement & EEO Statement\nIn developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
