Growth\n\nDid you know that A1 Bulgaria is working on international projects as well?\n\nOur wide portfolio has long past the telecom services, and we are now offering digital solutions to millions of corporate, public, and private customers.\n\nState-of-the-art technology, the latest innovations, and extremely talented professionals in various areas help us deliver the best-in-class products, services, and customer experience.\n\nYou’ll know A1 Bulgaria is the right place for you if you are driven by:\n\nOpportunities to learn and build your career.\n\nMeaningful work in a stable and fast-paced company.\n\nDiversity of people, projects, and platforms.\n\nA supportive, fun, and inspiring place to work.\n\nWould you like to join us?\n\nHamzi El- Zein is looking for a new team member.\n\nYour daily routine would include:\n\nDeveloping core commerce features end-to-end within a cross-functional squad, designing cartridges, business logic, and custom pipelines/controllers following Enfinity best practices.\n\nBuilding and maintaining enterprise integrations connecting the Enfinity platform with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, OMS, and third-party services.\n\nInvestigating and resolving issues across the Enfinity application cluster, cartridges, and database layers (including cache invalidation, pipeline breaks, and batch jobs).\n\nParticipating in code reviews to maintain platform stability, architectural standards, and clean code across cartridges.\n\nOptimizing performance across Enfinity application servers, object caches, and Oracle DB queries.\n\nDesigning and maintaining database schemas and Enfinity persistent business objects (ORM/EDL), ensuring data consistency across migrations.\n\nWe’ll know you can make it if you have:\n\nEnfinity / Intershop Commerce Management Experience: Minimum 3+ years hands-on development experience customizing Enfinity/ICM (cartridge architecture, pipelines, pipelets, job pipelines, and business objects).\n\nStrong Core Java & OOP: Solid command of Java (enterprise patterns, clean code, multi-threading, and memory management).\n\nDatabase & ORM Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Oracle DB (SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning) and Enfinity’s native ORM/persistence engine or Hibernate.\n\nWeb & Templating Technologies: Experience working with ISML (Intershop Markup Language) templates, JSP/HTML, JavaScript, and XML-based configurations.\n\nIntegrations & Protocols: Proven experience designing and testing REST and SOAP/XML web services and APIs (SoapUI, Postman, or equivalent).\n\nApplication Servers & Environment: Experience configuring, deploying to, and debugging enterprise application servers (Apache Tomcat, native ICM app servers).\n\nCaching & Concurrency: Deep understanding of caching layers (Enfinity cache architecture, distributed caching/locking, and cache invalidation strategies).\n\nTooling & Build Systems: Proficiency with Git/GitHub, Maven or Gradle, and issue tracking tools like Jira.\n\nCommunication & Mindset: Fluent English (written and spoken).Strong communication skills — able to articulate architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, and system limitations clearly.
