With a team of 80+ FTEs across Europe (Berlin HQ), China, and India, the company is rapidly scaling toward profitability, driving triple-digit million GMV, and setting new industry standards in autonomous, AI-powered supply chain orchestration.\nIn this role, you’ll:\nOwn the data platform\nOwn the lakehouse end to end: ingestion from CRM and operational systems, storage, pipeline architecture, orchestration, and governance\nAdd near-real-time processing where the business needs speed, and keep batch where it is sufficient\nSet engineering standards that the team will grow into\nTurn data into trusted datasets\nModel commercial and logistics data (quotes, orders, margins, suppliers, shipments) into trusted datasets shared by finance, sales, procurement, and logistics\nTurn business questions into reusable datasets and metrics together with the Head of Data, instead of one-off exports\nBuild the foundation for pricing, forecasting, and AI agents\nCreate features, signals, historical snapshots, and feedback loops that show whether decisions were right\nPrepare the data layer for dynamic pricing and demand sensing\nMake data quality visible\nIntroduce tests, monitoring, and alerting so pipeline failures and silent schema changes are caught early\nYour Profile: \n5+ years in data engineering with real ownership of a platform, not just individual pipelines\nStrong SQL and Python; hands-on Spark; lakehouse experience (Databricks strongly preferred)\nExperience using a CRM or ERP as a primary source, including modelling messy, manually edited operational data\nComfortable with infrastructure as code and software engineering practices (version control, CI, testing)\nAble to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and to push back when a request should be solved differently\nComfortable in a fast-changing scale-up environment without a finished spec\nRoutine use of AI coding tools, with a good sense of their limits\nNice to have: streaming experience (Kafka, Kinesis or equivalent), machine learning or statistics for forecasting or pricing, Salesforce experience, a background in commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain, and a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field\nPlease note that this position is based in Berlin\nBenefits and Perks:\nFulfil a role with entrepreneurial freedom and help scale a high-impact business model\nJoin an experienced founding team of serial and 2nd-time founders\nAttractive base and bonus compensation program\nCollaboration with top-tier investors and angels (incl. various unicorn founders) as well as leading market experts\nIf you’re eager to join the A11 Ecosystem and shape what’s next, we want to hear from you!\nOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion\nA11 is committed to diverse and equal opportunities hiring for all - applicants, candidates, and employees alike.
