Overtime and monthly bonus opportunities available!\nThis position will be Full Time 2nd Shift - schedule TBD.\nFleet Location: 2400 Sobeck Road, Columbus OH 43232\nWe offer our Associates:\nA competitive base rate ranging from $28/Hour to $29.25/Hour. **Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.**\n\nOpportunity for overtime during peak season.\n\nIndividual monthly bonus potential.\n\nOver 3 weeks of Paid Time Off may be accrued during the first year of employment.\n\n8 Paid Holidays.\n\n401(k) plan with company match up to 7%\n\nHealth & Life Insurance.\n\nTuition reimbursement up to $5250/year and professional certifications.\n\nComplimentary AAA membership (inclusive of product & service discounts).\n\nOther benefits include paid uniforms and paid training to qualified Associates.\n\nThe primary duties of the Club Fleet Lead Driver are to:\nProvide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jumpstarts and tire change services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.\n\nProvide mobile battery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures. Perform diagnostic tests and recommend solutions including sales of batteries and installation in various types of vehicles.\n\nProvide tow and recovery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.\n\nParticipate in the onboarding process by mentoring new hires and may provide training to other drivers as directed.\n\nUnderstand dispatch system and may assist drivers with road service call handling.\n\nCover for supervisors when they are off duty ensuring other drivers have the resources they need to deliver service.\n\nInspect fleet vehicles for safety, DOT compliance and appearance; ensure they are scheduled for routine maintenance.\n\nInventory batteries, supplies, tools and equipment.\n\nCommunicate with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure their safety.\n\nMake sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs.\n\nEnter call information accurately into in-truck technology, process payments, handle cash and complete reports as required.\n\nConduct vehicle and equipment inspections, ensure that all are in safe operating condition and that all requirements are met. Ensure that the fleet vehicle and all equipment are adequately secured at all times, including when the vehicle is not in use.\n\nSupport AAA as needed by participating in special events (parades, television, radio, and social media) promoting the brand.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be at least 21 years old.\n\nCompletion of a high school diploma or equivalent.\n\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside.\n\nMust have ability to pass a physical examination on a bi-annual basis as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy.\n\n5+ years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred.\n\nSatisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening.\n\nMust successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire.\n\nMust attain and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.\n\nAbility to successfully complete any additional future department training as required. (May need to adjust your schedule to attend training).\n\nKnowledge and skills to perform various diagnostic tests, to recommend solutions and to sell and install batteries in various types of vehicles.\n\nKnowledge and skills to perform tow and recovery services.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and using assigned technology.\n\nAbility to present and demonstrate Fleet policies and procedures to others.\n\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.\n\nAbility to use hand tools to provide service.\n\nBasic skills using email and GPS (Global Positioning Systems).\n\nAbility to operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks while primarily working from a service vehicle.
