This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a professional services environment, develop technical tax knowledge, and learn from experienced tax specialists. Working as part of a supportive team, you will assist with a range of client assignments while developing valuable commercial, analytical and communication skills.\nWe have exciting placement opportunities available in our Newry, Dungannon, Mallusk and Belfast offices.\nEntry Requirements\nAssist the preparation of audit working papers and financial statement reviews.\nAssist with testing financial controls and verifying supporting documentation.\nHelp gather, organise, and analyse financial information for audit and advisory engagements.\nMaintain accurate records, audit files, and documentation in line with professional standards.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to meet client deadlines and regulatory requirements.\nContribute to business advisory projects, providing insights and support to help clients achieve their goals.\nDevelop an understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practice.\nWhat We're Looking For\nCurrently studying towards a degree in any discipline \nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.\nGood numerical and analytical abilities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nEnthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn.\nWhat You Will Gain\nPractical experience within a professional tax team.\nExposure to a broad range of clients and industries.\nDevelopment of technical and professional skills.\nMentoring and support from experienced professionals.\nInsight into career opportunities within audit and business advisory services.\nMore Information\nAAB reserves the right to interview candidates prior to the closing date.\nWe understand that AI is increasingly used and may support candidates during the application process.
