From reducing our environmental impact, to supporting education through training and talent programmes, to giving back to our local communities with our charitable initiative ABBIE- ESG is part of who we are.\nROLE PURPOSE\nPurpose of the role/key responsibilities:\nPrimary role is to manage a very large audit client with multiple audits across several international groups.\nWorking closely with the RIs on these engagements to provide updates. \nManaging a few smaller audit engagements when required. \nTaking responsibility for the effective communication with clients and colleagues. \nEnsuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets \nReviewing of work prepared by other members of staff \nEnsuring that the firm’s quality control procedures are adhered to \nEnsuring the firm’s professional standards are met \nEnsuring that work is presented to the partner in a complete and finalised format \nProviding an efficient and pro-active service to clients and ensure that the clients’ needs are fully met \nIdentifying technical issues as well as selling opportunities to Partners of the firm \nDeveloping work from existing clients by working closely with Partners and staff of the firm \nAttending networking events, etc. and developing professional relationships with clients, others within the firm, and with other local professional firms and potential clients. \nPaying attention to self-development and continuing professional education \nConsulting with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters. \nTo support and work as a team player, whilst being able to work on own initiative \nTo assist in the provision of training to staff \nTo counsel, appraise, mentor, develop and motivate staff \nExperience & qualifications\n Experience and skill set required for the role:\nProfessional qualification (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience with at least 2 year’s PQE.\nCaseware experience in respect of auditing and accounts preparation is required. \nExperience in preparing financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS is required. \nExperience in auditing clients operating in digital asset sector beneficial but not required. \nExperience or interest in technology and how technology can be used to make audits more efficient is beneficial.\nExperience of managing and developing a client portfolio \nExperience of coaching and mentoring colleagues \nGood experience of business development\nOTHER\n Disclaimer\nUnsolicited CVs sent to AAB by Recruitment Agencies will not be accepted for this position.
