The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied mix of compliance and advisory assignments, build strong relationships develop junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the Corporate Tax team.\nKey responsibilities\nManaging a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.\nPreparing more complex corporation tax computations and reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and tax accounting disclosures prepared by junior team members.\nSupporting on a wide range of advisory projects, including group reorganisations and restructures, shareholder and owner managed business transactions and other corporate tax matters. \nSupporting HMRC enquiries and assisting with gaining valuable hands-on exposure.\nBuilding and developing relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact. \nAssisting Partners, Directors and Managers with proposals, tenders, networking and growth initiatives.\nCoaching, supporting and developing junior members of the team. \nKeeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients were appropriate. \nExperience & qualifications\n Experience and skills required\nCA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.\nCTA qualified, working towards CTA, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of corporate tax technical knowledge.\nExperience of UK corporation tax compliance and an interest in developing broader advisory skills. \nExperience managing client relationships and delivering work to agreed deadlines and budgets.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nA proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to continue developing technically and professionally. \nWHAT AAB OFFER\nWe want you to feel supported inside and outside of work.
