From reducing our environmental impact, to supporting education through training and talent programmes, to giving back to our local communities with our charitable initiative ABBIE- ESG is part of who we are.\nROLE PURPOSE\nKey duties & responsibilities:\nSupport the Financial Planners, applying your technical knowledge to provide client solutions.\nApply a collaborative approach to achieve the best client outcomes, delivering excellent levels of client service.\nBuild client relationships, establishing a key point of contact role for clients.\nCarry out research, analysis and due diligence of client holdings.\nPrepare technical calculations.\nIdentify information required to compile a financial plan.\nPrepare client cash flow reports, using our cash flow modelling software.\nPrepare suitability reports to a high standard, in line with our recommendations.\nAttend client meetings where appropriate.\nEnsure the planners, and clients, are updated regularly and in a timely manner throughout the client journey.\nWork to target Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements.\nWork collaboratively with the client services support team, to ensure recommendations are correctly implemented.\nReview client files upon completion of business.\nActively promote ideas and suggestions and participate in all business improvements as part of the firm’s Commitment to continuous improvement.\nAdhere to regulatory conduct rules and understand professional ethics and the firm’s methods and standard of working.\nKeep up to date with legislative changes and always adhere to compliance requirements.\nExperience & qualifications\nPERSON SPECIFICATION\nQUALIFICATIONS\nCII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) (desirable)\nCII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (working towards preferred)\n\nEXPERIENCE\n3-4 years’ relevant work experience\nPrevious experience of working in a similar role\nWorking to tight deadlines\nAnalysing client portfolios\nTechnical compliance and advisory work\n\nKNOWLEDGE\nSound knowledge of financial products and plans and technical calculations\nGood working knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice\nKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant software packages\n\nSKILLS & QUALITIES\nExcellent organisational skills\nStrong communication skills - both written and oral\nExcellent attention to detail\nLogical thinking and problem-solving skills\nAbility to have the client at the heart of what the teams do\nGood team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels\nAbility to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines\nSelf-motivated, and able to develop ideas into practice\nDedication to continuing professional development (CPD)\nWHAT AAB OFFER\nWe want you to feel supported inside and outside of work.
