From reducing our environmental impact, to supporting education through training and talent programmes, to giving back to our local communities with our charitable initiative ABBIE- ESG is part of who we are.\nROLE PURPOSE\nKey duties & responsibilities:\nManage and support a portfolio of clients, ensuring the timely delivery of tax compliance services.\nPrepare and review corporation tax and income tax computations and returns.\nProvide tax advice to individuals, owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.\nAssist with tax planning and advisory assignments, including business restructurings, capital taxes and other specialist matters.\nResearch Irish tax legislation and Revenue guidance to support client advice.\nLiaise directly with clients and Revenue on tax queries and compliance matters.\nIdentify potential tax risks and opportunities for clients, escalating complex matters where appropriate.\nWork closely with colleagues across Tax, Audit and Business Advisory to deliver an integrated client service.\nSupport and mentor junior team members, reviewing work where appropriate.\nMaintain technical knowledge through ongoing CPD and awareness of changes in Irish tax legislation.\nExperience & qualifications\nEssential\nQualified Chartered Tax Advisor, ideally with a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience.\nExperience working in a tax practice or professional services environment.\nStrong working knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.\nExperience preparing tax computations, returns and supporting tax advisory work.\nStrong communication, analytical and organisational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.\n\nDesirable\nACA or ACCA qualification in addition to tax qualification.\nExperience in corporation tax, personal tax, capital taxes and indirect taxes.\nExperience advising owner-managed businesses and SMEs.\nPrevious experience supervising or supporting junior colleagues.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nProactive, commercially aware and client focused.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nConfident communicator with the ability to build positive client relationships.\nCollaborative team player who takes ownership of responsibilities.\nMotivated to continue developing technical expertise and progress professionally.\n\nWhat We Offer\nExposure to a diverse client portfolio and interesting tax advisory assignments.\nOpportunities for career progression and professional development.\nSupportive and collaborative working environment.\nOngoing technical training and CPD.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.\nSalary Transparency\nThe salary range for this role is €45,000 - €55,000.\nOffers are determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal alignment within the team.\n\nWe do not request or consider candidates’ previous compensation as part of our hiring process.\n Disclaimer\nUnsolicited CVs sent to AAB by Recruitment Agencies will not be accepted for this position.
