This role focuses on rapidly understanding workflows, building solutions with AI-native tools, and productizing systems for internal teams across the business.\nThis role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and stakeholder collaboration.\nYou will work as part of a small, highly collaborative AI team and partner directly with internal clients to turn meetings, workflows, data, and rough prototypes into working systems.\nYour job is to work closely with stakeholders and the broader AI team to move quickly from requirements to implementation, while making sure the resulting workflows are useful, maintainable, adopted, and trusted in day-to-day use.\nThis is a forward-deployed software and systems engineering role with strong workflow, integration, and productization responsibilities.\nExamples of the systems and workflows this role may touch include:\nAI-assisted engineering workflows, document control, and approval automation\nMulti-agent licensing review, regulatory analysis, and contracting workflows\nFactory orchestration across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, quality, traceability, shipping, and receiving systems\nSupplier qualification, approved-vendor management, and procurement workflows\nEnterprise business systems across HR, finance, accounting, ERP, spend-management, and audit-sensitive workflows\nEngineering data systems including PLM, CAD, technical documents, and revision-controlled approval flows\nMeeting intelligence including transcription, summarization, and action-item capture\nTuning advanced simulation and modeling frameworks to improve the statistical accuracy and speed of nuclear site characterization\nCross-functional AI workflows that connect siloed systems and teams through automation\nCommon technology categories and engineering patterns in the stack include:\nBackend application development and scripting\nInternal web applications and workflow interfaces\nRelational and document-oriented databases\nAPIs, integration services, and service-oriented backend systems\nAI models, coding agents, agent harnesses, and orchestration frameworks\nEnterprise integrations, browser automation, and workflow orchestration\nContainers, CI/CD, and internal deployment patterns\nShared platform services for observability, evaluation, identity, and secure model access\nCloud platforms, secure storage, enterprise authentication, and secrets management\nData pipelines, background jobs, and automation glue across internal systems\nWhat you'll do\nSit down with internal stakeholders, learn their workflows, and translate ambiguous problems into working requirements and implementation plans\nBuild and iterate AI-enabled workflows from first pass to production through integration, edge-case handling, testing, hardening, rollout, and adoption support\nWork in a rapid delivery loop where AI-generated implementations are refined quickly into reliable internal tools\nReview, debug, and refine AI-generated code and workflows to ensure they are useful, maintainable, and safe to operate\nUse shared platform capabilities for observability, evaluation, and secure model access while helping improve them through real-world feedback\nWork closely with platform engineers and internal stakeholders to connect systems across departments and productize workflows that save time, reduce friction, improve operational quality, and earn trust with the teams that use them\nContribute reusable components, patterns, and workflow solutions back to the broader internal AI platform\nQualifications\nStrong engineering fundamentals\nYou can design systems with clear data models, APIs, service boundaries, and integration patterns\nYou write clear, maintainable code and can judge whether generated code is correct, secure, and maintainable\nYou have strong engineering judgment and know how to keep workflow solutions simple without sacrificing reliability\nHigh output and follow-through\nYou are comfortable taking incomplete requirements or rough prototypes and turning them into working systems\nYou handle integrations, edge cases, stakeholder feedback, and production issues without losing momentum\nYou care about delivering working systems that real internal users will adopt, not just interesting demos\nAI-native working style\nYou already use AI coding agents or
