Join us and help revolutionize energy for a sustainable future.\nAbout the role\nJoin our Field Operations team in Austin as we support the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and operation of all Aalo projects. Over a 12-to 16-week term you will work with multiple other teams to support the upcoming Aalo-0 and Aalo-X projects while gaining daily mentorship on the shop-floor as well as field operations experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in research and logistics for special projects.\nTravel on-site to support operations.\nWork with design engineers and manufacturing on realizing designs in the shop and in the field.\nRequired Qualifications\nGrowth mindset and positive attitude \nCompleted bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or closely related field). \nAir travel compliant form of ID and valid Driver's License. \nPhysically fit for duty - capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time while wearing PPE. \nAble to work full-time, on-site in Austin TX, for at least 12 consecutive weeks.\nAble to Travel (at Aalo’s expense) to out of state locations in the continental U.S. for up to two weeks at a time.\nMust provide own housing and daily transportation to the Austin facility; on-site parking is available.\nSome tasks involve standing, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 lbs while wearing PPE.\nBasic familiarity with powered and manual tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nGPA of 3.4+.\nCAD familiarity.\nHands-on engineering experience (course projects, research, internships, student shop, or personal builds).\nHands on experience with power tools and heavy equipment operation.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.\nRequirements:\nBased in the United States\nWilling to work on-site in Austin, TX\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive hourly wage based on technical experience\nHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nCorporate Gym Membership\nAdditional Information:\nAalo Atomics provides a collaborative and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, intellectually challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
