At AAPC we help take our students from the start of their careers to the peak, by unlocking their potential. The Job Ready program guides students through the most difficult certification exam concepts while preparing them for the workforce. Classes are held twice a week from 7p-9p ET or 9p-11p ET. Top applicants will be subject matter experts who are technologically driven, motivated, meticulous, and have experience teaching in a physical classroom or virtual environment.\nJob duties:\nFacilitate online curriculum by conducting weekly lectures and lab (Practicode®)\nUtilize digital course materials and electronic code books in lessons\nHold weekly office hour after lab sessions\nMonitor and measure student participation, attendance, and completion of assignments and assessments\nRecord attendance\nRespond to student queries within 48 business hours\nAdhere to all Instructor policies and procedures\nAttend faculty meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts\nQualifications:\nAAPC Instructor credential (CPC-I) and the CPC and/or CPB credential\nMinimum 3 years healthcare business experience\nMinimum 2 years teaching experience (online experience preferred)\nStrong interpersonal, communication and time-management skills\nAdvanced technological skills\nAbility to effectively demonstrate how to solve billing and coding cases\nAAPC Values:\nDRIVEN | Self-starts and stays highly motivated to achieve ambitious goals.
