# Engineer, Quality

SUMMARY The Quality Engineer is responsible for reviewing and addressing supplier performance and initiating continual conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and quality standards. Initiating and overseeing continual improvement events and corrective actions. The Quality Engineer must have experience and working knowledge with ISO 9001, AS 9100/9110/9120, FAA 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 65, 145 and EASA, as well as US Department of Defense regulations (FARs, DLADs, DFARs, etc.). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates as key team member in the measuring and monitoring aspect of supplier performance by ensuring accurate data is maintained in the Non Conformance Reporting (NCR) system for Product Conformity and On-Time Delivery systems are in place for tracking, reporting and maintaining supplier performance; including supplier development and improvement actions. Ability to create power point presentations and hold meetings in relation to supplier performance. Issue, maintain and follow-up on internal and supplier Corrective Action Requests. Ability to validate product conformity to approved engineering drawings.
