The CNC Setup Operator works safely, supports waste reduction, and delivers quality products on schedule.\nWhat you will be responsible for:\nPerforms assigned work using routine and non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and in accordance with FAA and AAR quality standards, with minimal supervisory assistance.\nPerforms typical CNC and manual fabrication shop operations, including operation of horizontal and vertical CNC/manual routing and drilling machines.\nFabricates and assembles aircraft interior parts and components as directed.\nPerforms layout work and prepares shop drawings as required.\nPerforms routine equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable manuals.\nUnderstands and maintains AAR and customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs.\nPromotes a culture of safety by monitoring personal work practices and those of others to ensure duties are performed within established AAR safety requirements.\nSafely uses and operates appropriate hand tools and machinery associated with the interior fabrication shop.\nReads and uses blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nDescription:\nOperates interior fabrication shop equipment to fabricate parts and perform repairs within budgeted time and in accordance with AAR, FAA, and customer quality standards.
