The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of UI/UX along with strong backend engineering and API development skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Map-Based WebApp & Visualization\nDesign and develop responsive, high-performance map-based WebApps.\nBuild interfaces to compare route travel times and analyze regional delivery distribution.\nIntegrate mapping services such as:\nGoogle Maps / Google Routes API\nOneMap\nOpenStreetMap\nMapLibre\nMapbox GL\nLeaflet\nImplement route overlays, polygon labeling, map layers, and geographical statistics.\nEnsure complex geographical information is presented in a clean and uncluttered UI.\n2. Data Pipelines & Backend Services\nBuild and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and clean data from:\nBigQuery\nPostgreSQL\nMongoDB\nExcel\nCSV\nImplement data validation and automated data-quality checks.\nEnsure data is accurate and ready for simulations and analysis.\nDevelop backend APIs using Python and FastAPI.\nProvide routing and simulation results to the frontend visualization layer.\n3. Route Optimization Deployment\nSupport Data Scientists in deploying and running route optimization simulations.\nContainerize applications and workloads using Docker.\nDebug backend, API, integration, and runtime issues.\nSupport workload-rebalancing simulations.\nAssist with deployment and performance testing of optimization workloads.\nNote: Candidates do not need advanced mathematical knowledge of route optimization algorithms.\n4. AI-Assisted Development & Quality\nUse AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Hermes.\nReview and validate AI-generated code before production use.\nMaintain strong coding standards across frontend and backend.\nImplement TypeScript/Python typing, automated testing, linting, and CI/CD.\nPrevent regression and low-quality AI-generated code through proper engineering practices.\nMaintain API documentation and technical documentation.\n5. Secure Remote Delivery\nWork exclusively through a secure VDI / jump-host environment.\nFollow strict zero-data-egress policies.\nTechnical Requirements\nFrontend – Must Have\nTypeScript\nReactJS or Svelte\nExperience with map/geospatial visualization.\nExperience with one or more:\nGoogle Maps / Google Routes API\nOpenStreetMap\nOneMap\nMapLibre\nMapbox GL\nLeaflet\nBackend – Must Have\nStrong Python development experience.\nFastAPI / REST API development.\nExperience with:\nPostgreSQL\nBigQuery\nMongoDB\nDocker / containerization\nBackend API integration and debugging.\nData & Testing\nExperience building ETL/data pipelines.\nExperience handling tabular and/or spatial datasets.\nData validation and quality checks.\nAutomated testing for frontend and backend applications.\nExperience with type checking, linting, and regression testing.\nAI Development\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as:\nClaude Code\nOpenAI Codex\nHermes\nSimilar AI development tools\nAbility to critically review, test, and improve AI-generated code.\nNice to Have\nExperience with NVIDIA GPU environments.\nExperience with NVIDIA cuOpt.\nRoute optimization experience.\nLogistics, fleet management, transportation, or supply-chain technology experience.\nExperience with geospatial or GIS platforms.\nExperience with workload optimization or simulation platforms.\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is a pragmatic full-stack builder who can:\nWork comfortably across frontend and backend.\nBuild intuitive and modern map-based interfaces.\nHandle multiple data sources and data structures.\nEnsure data accuracy and consistency.\nDevelop and maintain APIs and data pipelines.\nWork effectively with Data Scientists.\nUse AI coding tools productively while critically validating the generated code.\nMaintain strong testing and engineering standards.\n1.
