A variety of technologies and practices are used including cloud computing, automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning within highly collaborative Agile teams.\nTheEngineer I, PeopleSoft is a technical resource on a platform/capability team responsible for supporting the day to-day design, implementation and operational activities of the team.\nResponsibilities:\nAssisting the team with processing transactions, resolving issues, and administering platform or capability systems, solutions, and services.\nMaintaining code repositories and Git-based services, if applicable.\nWriting code, leveraging third-party services, configuring systems, and implementing solutions in an agile way.\nCollaborating with team to identify technical solutions for business and enterprise needs.\nDeveloping technical knowledge and expertise related to domain area systems, solutions, services and applications.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.\nWillingness to coordinate with suppliers and end users on day-to-day issues and maintain audit logs and other important communication.\nAbility to prepare notes and presentations using the MS Office suite of applications, including CoPilot or other enterprise AI tools.\nLeverage AI technologies to enhance productivity and demonstrate strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python, PowerShell, Groovy and other automation tools.\nKnowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog management, retrospectives, and iterative software development practices.\nExcellent problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.\nSelf-motivated and independent learner with the ability to quickly acquire new skills, adapt to changing technologies, and work effectively with minimal supervision.\nPreferred:\nKnowledge in AWS, Active Directory, networking concepts, and information security is preferred.\nAARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position.\nAdditional Requirements\nRegular and reliable job attendance\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nExhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships\nIndependent judgement in evaluation options to make sound decisions\nIn office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise\nHybrid Work Environment\nAARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions.
