The AgeTech Venture Studio at AARP is looking for you! The AgeTech Venture Studio is building the capability to deliver bespoke human-centered design engagements and rapid prototyping of products for AARP Business Units to help them solve challenges related to the 50+ market and deliver value to AARP members and non-members. This paid internship is expected to start in January 2027, with an option to continue throughout the year.\nResponsibilities:\nWork directly with project teams, assisting with new product development phases (in many cases utilizing AI tools) from concept design to prototyping\nReview and synthesize AgeTech and industry research and draft documents to summarize learnings\nApply strategic, analytical, and creative thinking to help develop insights and identify new opportunity areas\nSupport development of early prototypes\nParticipate in team meetings and strategy discussions and engage in a support role for various remote and in-person workshops\nQualifications:\nMust be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college/university as a rising undergraduate junior or senior, graduate student, or postdoctoral student, and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship \nInterest in and/ or experience in new product development and UI/UX\nMust be a self-starter and adaptable, with the ability to work under tight deadlines \nAbility to manage multiple projects, anticipate project needs, and discern work priorities\nSolid communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions\nTechnical proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; vibe coding and experience using AI tools desired.\nFamiliarity with online research tools such as SurveyMonkey and similar AARP proprietary tools \nAARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position.\nAdditional Requirements\nRegular and reliable job attendance\nExhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships\nIn office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise\nHybrid Work Environment\nAARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe hourly range is $18.40 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates.
