Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering production work orders, identifying discrepancies and correcting them, and managing inventory counts for both on-site and off-site warehouse storage. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory operations.\nResponsibilities\nPRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAccurately complete entries for production work orders.\nAssist with the transfer and receipt of purchased inventory items.\nSupport and improve inventory management processes, including regular audits, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to assess inventory needs and requirements.\nMaintain detailed records of all inventory activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.\nDemonstrate acute attention to detail in monitoring inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.\nResolve inventory-related challenges and conflicts swiftly and effectively, leveraging strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.\nFoster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership.\nDrive process improvements to streamline inventory workflows and enhance efficiency.\nPRIMARY TASKS AND DUTIES\nEnter production work orders into the SAGE 100 system in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.\nVerify the accuracy of inventory records, including quantities, specifications, and locations.\nAssist with inventory transfers and the receipt of goods.\nCollaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts. \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES\nStrategic Thinking: Execute and improve inventory processes to support organizational objectives and drive competitive advantage.\nDetail Orientation: Ensure accuracy and integrity in all inventory activities, documentation, and record-keeping.\nIntegrity: Uphold the highest ethical standards and demonstrate honesty, transparency, and fairness in all company dealings.\nCollaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals and deliver value to the organization.\nInventory Management: Manage the end-to-end process of creating, reviewing, and processing inventory records to meet business needs.\nDiscrepancy Resolution: Evaluate and address inventory discrepancies swiftly and effectively.\nReceiving: Verify and receive deliveries while focusing on the reduction of errors with invoice processing.\nWork Orders: Coordinate with production teams to complete work orders and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.\nSafety Awareness: Promote a culture of safety and compliance.\nQualifications\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nProven experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with a focus on inventory management and discrepancy resolution.\nPossesses strong analytical acumen, adept at navigating complex scenarios and making well-informed decisions.\nProficiency in inventory management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
