Purpose\nTo identify lending target customers and deliver assigned loan target for medium loan team by ensuring loan assessment is properly followed and complied with credit policies and service applications to authorized approval parties as well as to lead assigned team with charismatic manner and utmost responsibility to achieve the set loan target and maintain loan portfolio with good quality.\nResponsibilities\nExercise direct supervision over all medium business loan personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.\nMonitor team activities such as designing working schedules, assigned duties, responsibilities, coaching and performance review to maintain stable operations.\nTake lead in promoting the Bank’s Medium Business loan products particularly in conducting customer orientation to improve the quality of the Bank’s medium loan portfolio.\nConduct site visit to customers’ business and collateral in accordance with the bank’s policy to ensure proper granting of loans.\nVerify supporting documents provided by clients and ensure fair collateral valuation based actual site visit to detect fraudulent.\nManage late payment and medium business loan defaults by consistently providing team the professional methodologies to follow up, reschedule and restructure clients’ loans.\nWork closely with loan recovery team to ensure successful recovery of loan.\nDrive team to achieve each individual performance target and overcome challenges in their own areas through regular pipeline meetings.\nFollow up on individual loan officer’s productivity and retain medium business loan portfolio in timely manner.\nMeet and explain loan late penalty clause in loan contract to clients with loan officers to inform precisely on repayment discipline.\nReport and update the line manager any activities and status of the loan products as well as the problems and issues encountered by team members.\nGive constructive feedback to improve the branch’s operational policy and guidelines.\nHandle complex customers’ issues or complaints with loan officers to reach win-win solution and if the complains are not resolved at the low level it should be forwarded to higher management level. \nResolve team routine and complex issues to maintain productivities and morale.\nAct as a role model within the team to question, listen and give actionable feedback carefully to create a productive work atmosphere towards “speak up culture”. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.\nMinimum three years of working experiences in banking and financial services industry with a strong track record in granting loans preferably in business banking. \nDemonstration of team leadership and management. \nIn-depth knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management. \nExcellent sales skills, customer relationship building, and networking.\nStrong critical thinking skills, professional communication skills, assertiveness, and team dynamic.\nExcellent client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.\nCredit evaluation and analysis skills with business insights related to business loans in Cambodia context.\nFinancial literacy and ability to interpret and analyze financial statements (audited and/or management reports) of the business in order to access repayment capacity and financial soundness of the clients.\nStrong presentation skills and professionalism.\nAbility to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.\nProficient Microsoft Office and Bank’s software. \nExcellent organizing, recording, and filing skills.\nGood math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.\nGood team leadership, management, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.\nStrong dedication to accuracy and
