We’re trusted by industry leaders such as Dish Networks, Strava, BetterUp, Kajabi, JG Wentworth, Abridge, Cortex, and hundreds more.\nWe have raised over $100m, closing in June 2025 our $60M Series B, led by Scale Venture Partners, with the strong participation of Cathay Innovation, Y Combinator, Atomico, Creandum, and angel operators from Adyen, Zapier, and Twitch.\nOur mission is ambitious and we can’t do it alone - join Abacum as we build the future of Business Planning!\nAbout the Role\nOwn end-to-end delivery of Abacum implementation projects, from pre-sales scoping through kickoff and delivery, driving customers to success and value realization on the platform.\n\nPartner with Sales during the pre-sales cycle to scope projects, size effort, and present and walk clients through the SOW, setting the right expectations before the deal closes.\n\nBuild project documents, sprint plans, budgets, and resource plans tailored to project and delivery model.\n\nManage implementations that involve both direct customer delivery and delivery through partners, holding partners to the same quality bar as internal delivery.\n\nManage scope, risk, and change control, escalating early using our governance processes.\n\nAct as the trusted advisor to client stakeholders; not just running the plan, advising on process and org changes needed to get value from the platform.\n\nCoordinate with Product, Support, Sales, Customer Success, and delivery partners to keep a single, coherent client experience.\n\nGet hands-on with the product itself, deep enough to unblock the team on platform or FP&A concept questions without escalating.\n\nContribute directly to how we deliver: developing/deploying Ai to speed up delivery and enhance the customer experience, refining templates, sprint cadences, and design-phase practices as we continually evolve our methodology.\n\nMentor junior delivery team members and, where relevant, partner-side consultants on delivery standards and quality bar.\n\nWhat You Bring\n4+ years of hands-on experience implementing a financial planning/EPM platform; this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have.\n\nExperience scoping projects pre-sale and presenting SOWs directly to clients, comfortable being in the room before the deal is signed, not just after handoff.\n\nDirect experience managing implementations delivered through third-party partners or resellers, alongside those delivered directly to customers.\n\nWorking knowledge of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation), enough to challenge a client's assumptions, not just document them.\n\nWorking knowledge of other planning use cases such as workforce planning and others is a bonus.\n\nTrack record managing multi-stakeholder, multi-workstream projects with both technical and change-management components.\n\nAbility to read a scope document critically and flag risk before it becomes a delivery problem.\n\nProficiency with SaaS project tools and Agile/hybrid methodologies.\n\nExcellent at client-facing communication, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior finance stakeholders.\n\nFormal Project Management Qualifications are a plus, not a requirement.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation including equity package\n\nCompetitive vacation policy\n\nMedical Insurance\n\nL&D budget\n\nAccess to Meditopia (wellbeing platform)\n\nLanguage courses (English / Spanish)\n\nOur Values\nCustomer Obsession:We share the understanding that Abacum's sole purpose is to create value for customers and relentlessly deploy all creativity and energy to that end.\nAudacious Ambition:We dream big and embrace discomfort.
