We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about Technology and Cybersecurity to join our growing IT Security team!\nResponsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):\nHigh interaction with the Security, Engineering and Service teams, and respond to escalated issues from our tier 1 analysts in a timely fashion\n\nRespond and action escalations from our MDR provider and work with our engineering team and clients to improve detection and response capabilities whilst maintaining health and security of our platform\n\nUtilize interpersonal and technical skills to effectively communicate with management, peers, and clients\n\nMaintain an awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies\n\nAbility to scope, implement and support new security projects/initiatives\n\nOwnership and follow up of pending issues to resolution\n\nSkills\nFamiliarity with industry standard tools and applications (such as Rapid7, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, KnowBe4)\n\nFamiliarity with industry standard SIEM, Anti-Virus, Email/Spam Filtering, Asset\n\nMonitoring tools. (Working knowledge with SIEM query languages, Palo Alto Panorama, SentinelOne, Nagios, Mimecast, or Proofpoint)\n\nAbility to navigate and utilize a ticketing system (such as ServiceNow)\n\nExperience with change management and security remediation processes\n\nExperience with security documentation, technical and policy writing\n\nAbility to deliver technical/security information or concepts in a user-friendly format\n\nTakes ownership and excels in both independent and team project work\n\nAbility to work under pressure and with short deadlines\n\nMust have availability to occasionally work nights and weekends\n\nQualifications\nMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in a security operations team, system engineering or\n\ntechnical security role\n\nA Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar focus\n\nMicrosoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification a plus\n\nSecurity Certificate (current or within 6 months of hire) such as; CompTIA CySA, Security+ and Network+ CISA, ISC-2 CC\n\nThe benefits package consists of:\nGenerous annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays (pro-rata if part-time working hours apply)\nGym discount\nLife insurance\nComprehensive travel insurance for you and your family in line with scheme rules\nConfidential well-being and counselling support\nCompetitive Compensation\nContributory pension scheme\nCompany events\nPrivate Medical and Dental Insurance\nIf you feel you have the necessary experience to go forward for this role, please apply now.
