Receptionist | Lumino Miramar| Full Time

Lumino Miramar is a busy, community-focused practice with a friendly, close-knit team who take pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment for both patients and staff.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, high-performing practice where collaboration, learning, and patient-first care are valued every day.

As one of our Receptionists, you will be the friendly face our patients see when they walk through the door and the welcoming voice they hear on the phone. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, so we are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients in person and over the phone in a warm and professional manner
• Managing appointment bookings and confirmations
• Responding to patient emails and enquiries
• Processing payments and daily banking
• Maintaining accurate patient records and filing systems
• Providing general administrative support to the practice team
• Supporting the team in delivering a positive patient experience

Hours

• Monday: 7:45am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:45am - 5:15pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:15pm
• Thursday: 7:45am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:45am - 4:00pm

We're looking for someone who is positive, reliable, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous reception, administration, customer service, or healthcare experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
• Confidence using computer systems and managing administrative tasks
• A professional, caring, and patient-focused approach
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible and proactive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
• Valid New Zealand work rights
• The ability to commute reliably to the practice, ideally living locally or within a reasonable commuting distance

Previous experience in the dental or healthcare industry is highly regarded but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
