If you’re passionate about embedded systems and enjoy working in a collaborative, agile environment - we’d love to hear from you.\n\nSome of the things you will be working on:\nFirmware Delivery\nDevelop and maintain embedded firmware in C for telematics hardware platforms.\n\nOptimize code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.\n\nPlatform & Interfaces\nWork with traditional hardware interfaces such as I2C, UART, and SPI.\n\nIntegrate with on-chip and external interfaces including CAN, OBD-II, GNSS, cellular modems, and BLE.\n\nSecurity & Updates\nImplement and maintain secure bootloaders and OTA (over-the-air) update mechanisms.\n\nDevelop robust firmware upgrade solutions.\n\nDebugging & Validation\nDebug and troubleshoot embedded systems using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software debuggers.\n\nCollaborate closely with hardware engineers on board bring-up and validation.\n\nWe believe you bring:\nProficiency in C programming for embedded systems.\n\nExperience with RTOS-based and bare-metal firmware development.\n\nStrong knowledge of microcontroller architectures, preferably ARM Cortex-M.\n\nSolid understanding ofhardware interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, ADC/DAC, GPIO.\n\nKnowledge of low-power design and energy-efficient firmware techniques.\n\nProficient in using embedded debugging tools and test equipment.\n\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) andCI/CD pipelines for firmware development.\n\nAwareness of embedded security best practices (e.g., secure boot, encryption).\n\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, debugging, and optimization), and the ability to use them effectively in firmware development workflows.\n\nNice-To-Have:\nFamiliarity with Zephyr and cross-compilation toolchains.\n\nUnderstanding of GNSS and cellular communication protocols.\n\nA degree in Computer Science, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.\n\nNot ticking every box?\nThat’s okay - we know that great candidates don’t always check off every single requirement.
