Business Analyst – Business Intelligence, Data Collection & Automation

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on data collection, process automation, and analytics to support the operation and development of a commercial data huband business intelligence unit. This role will sit at the intersection of businessdevelopment,Salesandtechnologyto build relevant data sets to assistin the growth of the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building this new function to identifydata requirements, optimizing data flows, and driving automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability to empower the Sales, Product developmentand Marketing teams across exchange products.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements intofunctional and technical specificationsfor execution and ongoing optimization while creating functional output for business analyses.

• Lead and Define data models, schemas, data quality rulesand various collection sources in collaboration with engineering teamsand development cycles.

• Identifyopportunities to automate manual or,if required, semi-manual operational workflows.

• Create dashboards and reports to highlight relevant data points for internal sales and marketing teams whilst assistingstakeholders in building data driven presentations for both internal and external review.

• Buildand analysebespoke data sets alongsidethe product development teamand take part in project related analyses with the business development and strategy functions.

• Create procedures for daily maintenance with the view on ongoing development pipelines in conjunction withtechnology teams.Act as a bridge between business usersandtechnology teams.

• Champion the teams’goals, educate and empower business teams with relevant and current data trends to create a collaborativeand entrepreneurial environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline

• 1-3 years’ experience in a technical business analyst, data analyst, or similar role (or exceptional graduate experience)

• Understanding of financial and commoditymarketswith emphasis on price correlation fundamentals.

• Understanding of Derivatives products fundamentals including market data, trade lifecycle, margining, and risk management.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and analytical databases

• Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and automation concepts

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, APIs, and system designs

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
