You will also showcase your skills by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-onsite.\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Pinetops, NC.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nWorking with the engineering and management team to specify maintenance plans for new production lines.\nConsulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety.\nSolving major technical, equipment or facilities challenges to increase the performance of the production lines.\nReacting promptly to any emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, or other problems to minimize disruption to production.\nProposing improvements for processes and production lines aimed at reducing maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.\nMaintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.\nImplementing health, safety and environmental guidelines and directive.\nQualifications for the role\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n2+ years working as a maintenance technician.\nData Analysis & Reporting experience.\nKnowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing Processes.\nPlanned Maintenance & Backlog and Specialist Technical & Engineering Skills.\nKnowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.\nAbility to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed\nAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.\nCandidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.\nMore about us\nABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
