You will help resolve product challenges, communicate technical capabilities, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective customer solutions.\nThe work model for the role is: #Hybrid out the Bartlesville, OK factory. #LI-Hybrid\nCandidates should live within a commutable distance of ABB’s Bartlesville, OK factory, and plan to work onsite 2-3 days per week, with increased onsite presence during the initial period.\nYou will be part of the ABB Flow Computer and RTU automation, measurement, and control solutions for the upstream oil and gas sector - from wellhead to global distribution - enabling safe, productive, and profitable operations.\nYour role and responsibilities\nSupport product portfolio activities by gathering customer feedback, monitoring market trends, and identifying opportunities to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.\nMaintain product and technical knowledge by understanding specifications, configurations, applications, product capabilities, and relevant industry standards.\nSupport product improvements and lifecycle activities by identifying customer needs, contributing technical recommendations, and assisting with product updates and new offering introductions.\nResolve product and application issues by working with Sales, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, and Quality to investigate concerns and coordinate solutions.\nProvide technical sales support by answering product questions, assisting with quotations, participating in customer meetings, and communicating product capabilities and limitations.\nSupport product launches and training by contributing technical content, sales materials, product communications, and training for internal teams and customers.\nCollaborate across functions to address product quality concerns, improve product performance, and support compliance with ABB standards, policies, and safety requirements.\nOur Team Dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nQualifications for the role:\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in instrumentation, industrial products, technical support, applications, technical sales, or a related field.\nField experience supporting instrumentation products, industrial measurement systems, customer applications, troubleshooting, or technical service.\nWorking knowledge of instrumentation products, technical specifications, or industrial measurement applications.\nAbility to troubleshoot product or application issues, communicate technical information clearly, and coordinate solutions with customers and internal teams.\nWilling and able to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed, for customer support.\nCandidates must have work authorization that permits permanent employment with ABB in the United States.\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nFamiliarity with SAP, CRM systems, technical documentation, or product lifecycle processes.\nWhat's in it for you \nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
