Every day, you will use testers on electronic boards (PCBs) after they have been assembled, to correct defects in soldering or component placement. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical drawings/instructions for assembly.\nYour responsibilities\nAssemble electronic components to manufacture printed circuit boards.\nOperate a semi-automatic machine.\nPerform tests, including TNT and LED tests.\nAssemble and package products.\nEnsure that parts meet quality requirements.\nParticipate in the Continuous Improvement Program.\nPerform other related duties as required.\nUphold ABB’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the company.\nYour qualifications\nAbility to interpret assembly drawings.\nKnowledge of abbreviations used in product descriptions.\nUnderstanding of part number structures.\nKnowledge of and ability to apply IPC standards.\nKnowledge of, and ability to follow, occupational health and safety rules.\nGood manual dexterity and attention to detail, with flexibility and a willingness to learn.\nAbility to maintain a work pace that meets established objectives.\nSelf-motivation, versatility, and a team-oriented approach.\nSpoken and written proficiency in French or English.\nEmployment Equity & Inclusion Statement (Canada)\nABB values the dedication, commitment, and expertise of all our employees.
