Finishers / Assemblers are expected to work safely, ensure they are packing quality product, and keep up 5S in their work area.\nThe work model for the role is onsite in Portland, TN.\nMajor Responsibilities/Activities:\nVisual quality inspections\nPlace product in box with appropriate count in each box\nLabel product and boxes\nTape boxes\nLift and carry boxes up to 45 lbs.\nMonitor equipment operation\nAssist in training of new employees\nMaintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5S\nFollow standardized work instructions\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing efforts\nParticipate in Kaizen events\nCover other positions following appropriate training as needed\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum one month or less similar or related work experience\nAbility to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request parts or supplies verbally or in writing\nPreferred Qualifications:\nLean 101\nCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
