This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your knowledge by applying basic design thinking/design best practices concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Automation - Energy Division in Bangalore- India Region. Mian stakeholder include Project Lead Engineers, DCS/Automation Engineering Teams, Customers & End Users, Commissioning & Site Operations Teams, and Pharma/Chemical Plant Stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Execute engineering and commissioning activities for DCS projects under the guidance of the Project Lead Engineer.

• Develop, configure, program, and customize Distributed Control System (DCS) solutions to meet project requirements.

• Install and integrate DCS systems at customer sites, ensuring seamless operation with existing infrastructure.

• Perform commissioning activities, including system validation, loop checks, and functional testing to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with project teams and customers throughout project execution, including site travel, documentation, as-built preparation, and project handover.

Qualifications for the role:

• You enjoy working with industrial automation in the pharma and chemicals market.

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation DCS commissioning in process automation industry.

• You possess enhanced knowledge of 800xA.

• You are motivated by stakeholder management and team management.

• You have a diploma or degree in engineering, in instrumentation or chemical engineering.

• You are comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in English.
