Main Stakeholders include Internal engineering, automation & commissioning teams, process industry customers, contractors, plant operations personnel, and project management teams.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nPerforming survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.\nExercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods and preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.\nAssisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within your scope of deliverables.\nSupporting in communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.\nParticipating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.\n\nQualifications for the role\n3-7 years of experience in Load Management Systems, Control & Automation, software development, testing, installation, and commissioning of High Power Rectifier Systems and Rectifier Transformers.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering disciplines, with experience delivering automation solutions in process industries.\nHighly skilled in ABB 800xA Platform, Rectifier Control Systems, and industrial automation solutions supporting Aluminum, Copper, Zinc, and Caustic Chlorine process industries\nPossess solid knowledge of ABB 800xA, Control Builder, SCADA, RTU, Power Management Systems (PMS), and industrial communication protocols such as IEC61850, OPC, Modbus, and Modbus TCP/IP.\nExperienced in developing and optimizing PMS and Rectifier libraries, with hands-on experience in IED engineering, protection relay applications, and electrical system commissioning.\nComfortable with 70-80% Pan-India travel and are at ease communicating in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.\nMore about us\nThe Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries.
