Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nSenior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities\nABB is looking for an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer for its Global Operation Center in Bangalore, India. This role involves providing technical application support and expertise in cybersecurity, with a primary focus on control systems.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries based in Bangalore, India.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDevelop and implement ongoing DCS system security strategies and engineering application standards.\nApply knowledge of security standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, or NERC CIP and Work with firewalls, networking systems, and IDS/IPS technologies.\nDefine, design, and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions to safeguard against advanced threats in diverse environments.\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles such as defense-in-depth, network segmentation, security monitoring, incident response, access management, OT patch management, and secure remote access.\nThink with a security-first mindset and apply expertise in OT environments, corporate application access control, network routing, packet analysis, and cyber threat analysis.\nYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.\nQualifications for the role:\nEngineering degree with experience in networking or cybersecurity. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nProficient documentation skills to create clear and consistent guidelines and customer materials. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.\nWillingness to travel as required.\nMore about us\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
