Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nAutomation Engineering Manager - Japan & South Korea__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.\nThe work model for the role is: hybrid # LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Machine Automation division in South Korea. The main stakeholders are customers, sales teams, and project partners within the industrial automation business.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDeveloping and implementing automation solutions based on customer and project requirements.\n\nConducting system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support at customer sites.\n\nPreparing technical documentation, including system specifications, test reports, and user manuals.\n\nProgramming and configuring PLC, HMI, motion-control, and industrial communication sys-tems.\n\nProviding product training and technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nCollaborating with sales and project teams to define suitable technical solutions.\n\n Qualifications for the role\nMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or machine automation.\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, electronic, control, automation engineering, or a related field.\n\nPractical experience with PLC and HMI programming and commissioning would be preferred.\n\nKnowledge of motion control, servo systems, industrial networks, and communication protocols.\n\nWillingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
