By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics-working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.\nThis Position reports to:\nBusiness Manager - E2EMission Statement:\nTo lead the profitable growth of ABB Robotics' Connected Care business in the China market-encompassing services, software, and digital solutions-by driving a cohesive commercial and operational strategy. This role is accountable for overseeing all sales and marketing activities, as well as managing day-to-day service operations, to deliver high-quality offerings that maximize customer equipment performance, uptime, and lifecycle value. The leader will accelerate business expansion through deeper installed-base penetration and a robust go-to-market strategy, including digital market places, leveraging a competitive value proposition anchored in digital connectivity and data-driven services\nMain Accountabilities and Duties:\nImplements the global and local business strategy and ensures business development in the area of responsibility.\nDevelops proactive strategies/initiatives to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness, and managing resources and competences.\nEnsures profitable business growth through development of performance targets and leads the Connected Care unit to achieve targets.\nEvaluates the market opportunities and decides appropriate commercial activities on service portfolio to capture the opportunities.\nDrives productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization.\nDelivers operational/project targets (e.g. OTD, lead time, quality, ease of doing business, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).\nDevelops a customer centric and continuous improvement culture. Improves service technology, competence, field engineering tools and capabilities, business processes and procedures in line with the business strategy.\nDrives installed-base penetration and lifecycle value growth by developing data-driven strategies to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, leveraging equipment performance data, usage analytics, and customer insights to proactively tailor Connected Care offerings (services, software, and digital solutions).\nDrives the business growth in tight collaboration with peers from local business lines and global Connected Care management team.\nEnsures Health, Safety and Integrity as a license to operate with adequate processes and controls and sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.\nWith support from HR, constantly drives people and organization development nurturing talents, engaging and motivating teams within a collaborative environment.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Experience:\nBachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years of experience in the automation industry, 8+ years of experience in leadership role\nSound financial business understanding, experience in P&L responsibilities\nDemonstrated leadership and experience in managing large industrial equipment installed base\nCommercially savvy in Annual Recuring Revenue (ARR) based business and digital solutions\nExposure to Physical AI is a plus\nProven and strong communication, influencing, stakeholder management and change management skills\nFluency in both Chinese and English, and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
