Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProcurement Team Lead__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also demonstrate your skill by identifying new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nInitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.\nNegotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.\nRecommending material planning and delivery methods with suppliers.\nAnalyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.\nParticipating in weekly meetings with multidisciplinary teams within business to show KPIs and RCA.\nSupporting and coaching Jr buyers in activities related to critical materials to prevent risks in production line.\nQualifications for the role:\nBachelors Degree Industrial or Similar Engineering.\n5+ Years experience in Purchasing direct materials (Metal mechanics and electrical).\nSkilled in SAP.\nNegotiation experience with international suppliers.\nKnowledge in RCA or Lean tools.\nAdvanced English.\nMore about us\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
