Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProcurement Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite/ Hybrid \nThis role is contributing to the AUPI in South Africa. \nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nInitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.\nNegotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.\nRecommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.\nAnalysing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.\nOur team dynamics \nYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.\n Qualifications for the role\nStrong abilities to work closely with Engineering and Project Management teams.\nAbility to demonstrate your experience in Project procurement, negotiation skills, problem solving, work under pressure\nPossess knowledge of SAP ERP, PPT, SAP ARIBA (an advantage) and MS Excel\nRelevant Procurement and Logistics qualification.\nYou are at ease communicating in English\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe want you to bring your full self to work on your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
