Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProcurement Manager__\nCategory Specialist\nJob Summary:\nSupport regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.\nMain Accountabilities:\nSourcing strategy\nSupports the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global Category leader.\nNegotiations\nNegotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.\nExcellence\nRuns benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.\nContract Management\nCreates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts.\nSupport\nSupports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.\nSupplier performance\nOn-boards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and runs regular supplier evaluations and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.\nOrders\nRuns regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold.\nInitiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.\nCommunication\nFosters communication internally, externally, and between businesses and supports the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
