Run what runs the world.\nOur Consultant - Energy & Carbon Services is a pillar of our Consultant & Business Development function within Energy & Carbon Services (ECS). In collaboration with operations and our internal sales consulting function, you will be responsible for generating service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within your designated area(s). Focuses on driving renewable energy sales through commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) and solar infrastructure. Builds long-term customer relationships and ensures immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.\nYour Responsibilities:\nGenerates service sales leads and partners with senior peers to develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and through identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.\nUtilizes team database to understand the existing customer base and identifies and develops sales opportunities for additional opportunities within the market.\nActs as a marketer and salesperson of ABB’s Renewables service products and solutions through marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).\nTranslates the needs of customer into relevant ABB ECS Renewables offerings and solutions.\nSupports tailored proposal generation to meet customer needs and internal targets.\nEstablish long-term customer relationships by understanding their requirements and our technical service product solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).\nDocument customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.\nPartner with Operations and Engineering to understand risk assessments related to price, quality, and overall package requirements.\nRegisters required information in the appropriate customer database.\nPlans and performs the right number of weekly sales visits and reports them on CRM.\nReports leads and opportunities, manages, and updates pipeline in CRM.\nUpdates and monitors sales proposals and tenders and follows-up on proposal statistics.\nCommunicates contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy and manages administrative sales processes.\nYour Background:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in business or sales driven field or combination of education and related experience in lieu of degree.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in a sales-driven role.\nTechnical knowledge of electrical engineering, electric vehicle and solar energy infrastructure highly preferred.\nMust be a strong communicator with solid presentation skills and proficiency in analytical software and digital sales tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Box.\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US\nMore About Us:\nWhat's in it for you\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
