Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nGlobal Division Contracts & Claims ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to define contract management strategy and contract formulation. Each day, you will ensure that all contract management activities are tendered, negotiated, and executed in accordance with the contract negotiations handbook / contract management framework and relevant group/division/business directives and instructions, including company procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by reviewing and commenting on contract terms and conditions and annexes to the contract/frame agreement.\nThe work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.\nThis role is contributing to the to the Energy Industries in Process Automation business based in Bangalore, India.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nSupport Contract Managers in delivering contract management services and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations across projects, divisions, and business lines.\nCollaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure contract requirements, flow-down obligations, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements are effectively implemented.\nAssist in contract kick-off activities, including contract reviews, preparation of contract summaries, deliverables tracking, risk identification, responsibility matrices, and contract awareness sessions for project teams.\nProvide support in managing contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.\nPrepare, maintain, and administer contractual documentation, correspondence, records, notices, communication logs, guarantees, insurance documents, and other project-related contract deliverables.\nSupport risk management, change management, and variation order processes, including the preparation of commercial proposals, claims, and contractual assessments.\nContribute to project reporting and closeout activities by ensuring accurate contract and commercial status reporting, while supporting global initiatives and other ad-hoc contractual or commercial assignments as required.\nYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.\nQualifications for the role:\nMinimum 7 yrs. Experience, with EPC energy/process plants related projects background.\nHas experience / background in contract management, engineering and construction contracting in EPC environment, system and package equipment contracts, contract lifecycle management.\nContractual and commercial knowledge with strong governance awareness to ensure contract compliance, and overall commercial integrity.\nGood technical background and knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction project management.\nAbility to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.\nBachelor 's degree, preferably quantity surveyor or engineering background with master level in law/contract management. \nMore about us\nABB a provides a comprehensive range of integrated automation, electrical and digital systems and services for customers in the process, hybrid and maritime industries.
