Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nEngineering Manager__\nYour role and tasks\nWe are looking for a Cyber Security Project Engineer to design, secure, and maintain operational technology environments for critical infrastructure. You will work with system architecture based on the Purdue model and help customers protect reliable operations where shutdowns are not an option. The role combines technical engineering, troubleshooting, customer dialogue, and on-site delivery. You will collaborate with project managers, supply chain, manufacturing, and other engineering colleagues to ensure that solutions meet contractual, safety, quality, and cybersecurity requirements. You will also contribute to documentation, technical risk assessments, proposals, and the continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes.\nYour responsibilities will include\nDesigning and hardening system architectures according to the Purdue model. \nIdentifying and resolving network issues affecting operational technology equipment. \nDesigning and configuring rules for firewalls and network switches. \nUpdating and patching installed systems while equipment remains in operation. \nProviding technical cyber security support for testing, installation, commissioning, and service activities as well as executing them. \nPreparing and maintaining project documentation, including as-built engineering deliverables. \nParticipating in customer and project meetings to resolve technical issues and meet contractual obligations. \nCoordinating with project, supply chain, manufacturing, and testing teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope. \nQualifications for the role\nExperience in network and cybersecurity engineering within operational technology environments.\nPractical experience with network architecture, firewalls, switches, system hardening and patching.\nIndustry knowledge relevant to critical infrastructure and environments where continuous operation is essential.\nAbility to analyze technical issues and advise customers on suitable and reliable solutions.\nExperience presenting technical solutions to customers in sales meetings, project meetings, or conferences.\nSkilled communication and the ability to build close dialogue with different stakeholders.\nFluent Danish, both written and spoken.\nMore about us\nAt ABB, we have a clear goal of promoting diversity and inclusion in terms of gender, LGBTQ+, disability, ethnicity, and age.
