Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSales Support Manager__\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Lancaster, TX\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to generate an unconstrained demand plan. Each day, you will conduct finished goods rationalization in coordination with relevant functions. You will also showcase your expertise by measuring, reporting on, and driving improvement in demand planning accuracy.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nAssembles and analyzes data pertinent for the assigned products to create an unconstrained demand plan. Maintains this unconstrained demand plan for rolling 12-18 months. Assists in conducting the demand review meetings.\nSupports Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products and assisting with the consolidation of the worldwide demand plan. Obtains Sales’ sign-off on the demand plan for input to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, as needed.\nWorks with customer base to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.\nPartners with Sales, Projects, Finance, Product Management team, and internal customers to develop best practices for rolling 12-18 months forecast (e.g., implement appropriate forecasting techniques, identify macro-economic factors, review trends, and monitor mix shifts amongst product family options, understand changes in demand drivers, etc.) thereby improving forecast accuracy.\nMonitors finished goods Stock Keeping Units (SKU) levels, recommends SKU rationalization initiatives. With the support of Anaplan tool, segments the portfolio of materials through an ABC analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy. Defines inventory policies according to this segmentation.\nQualifications for the role\n Bachelor degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, or Engineering (Industrial preferred) or related field PLUS minimum 8 years experience in materials planning, sourcing and/or logistics, preferred; OR Associate degree PLUS 10 years related work experience OR HS diploma/GED PLUS minimum 12 years related work experience\nExperience in ERP systems, specifically SAP\nAPICS/ISM or equal supply chain certifications, preferred\nMS Power BI and Excel\nAbility to achieve results with minimal supervision.\nStrong time management and organization skills.\nClear communication and presentation skills.\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nMore about us\nABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
