Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nOperations Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the operational aspects of local units, encompassing the full scope of Operations, including project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and planning and fulfillment, or a part of that. Each day, you will be responsible for developing business action plans for the units, aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring strict adherence within the Operations with respect to policies and required health, safety, and integrity standards.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Industries Division in Indonesia. \nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeads the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Coaches and provides performance feedback for project staff.\nContributes to the continuous improvement of policies and work instructions by adopting external “best practices” and findings from lessons learned. Actively seeks both internal improvement opportunities and external project management practices with relevance to ABB and influences the organization to continuously improve project execution. Actively participates in and contributes to internal and external expert groups, e.g. project management councils and other forums.\nLeads project recovery efforts, i.e. the rapid assessment of troubled projects and their turnaround on behalf of the Local Division.\nOur team dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\n Qualifications for the role\nMaster or bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution; Accredited qualification in Business Management is added advantage.\nMinimum 10 years of total engineering and project management experience, at least 5 years in senior project management role.\nStrong Leadership and business management skills.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nSolid professional with proven success in delivering complex solutions in Process Industries, including, but not limited to the scope of Automation Systems, Electrical, E-house, Digital Solutions.\nExperience in delivering Large Projects in Process industries will be required. \nExperience in Pulp & Paper, Mining industry in the South East Asia will be preferred.\nIntimate knowledge of solutions bundling ( Process Electrification, Large Ehouses, Automation Systems, Filed Instruments, Power Management System, ).\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
