Join us and help run what runs the world.\nYour Role: Own the Challenge\nThe Drive Service Supervisor holds a key leadership position responsible for operational excellence, technical service delivery, and stakeholder management. This role oversees all aspects of drive service operations, including repair quoting, booking, quality assurance, team performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The supervisor ensures all service activities comply with ABB standards, safety policies, and customer expectations while driving operational efficiency and revenue growth.\nThe work model for the role is: On-Site\nThis position is a new role contributing to the ABB Motion Services in Milton, Ontario.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLead workshop operations including workload planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity management.\n\nSupervise, coach, and develop service technicians while promoting a strong safety culture.\n\nProvide technical leadership for low-voltage drive diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and retro-fit activities.\n\nEnsure compliance with ABB quality standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.\n\nManage customer communication, repair quotations, service updates, and stakeholder engagement.\n\nMonitor shop performance, KPIs, revenue, and profitability while driving operational excellence.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and business growth.\n\nWhat it takes to run what runs the world\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.\n\n5-10 years of progressive experience in workshop, repair, service, or technical operations, in-cluding team leadership and hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or low-voltage drives.\n\nStrong customer relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience using SAP and service management tools; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\n\nEnglish required; French English bilingualism is considered an asset.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe empower you to take initiative, develop your leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact while working with innovative technologies and a collaborative team.\n More about us\nABB Motion Services delivers industry-leading solutions that help customers maximize reliability, productivity, and sustainability through advanced drive and motor technologies.\nWhile base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $75,300 and $110,440 annually and is bonus eligible.\nABB may utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled tools as part of its recruitment and selection processes.
