Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nMaster Schedule Planner__\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC\nYour role and responsibilities:\nCreates and maintains a detailed production schedule from the production plan.\nReleases manufacturing work orders.\nExecutes daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.\nEstablishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan obtained from the Production Planners.\nMonitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviation, and takes follow-up improvement action.\nFeeds information on production capacity issues and material availability to Production Planners.\nQualifications for the role:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProven ability to communicate directly with project managers regarding order status and delivery dates.\nExperience managing and coordinating multiple production schedules for MV, LV, and LIS Switchgear (SWGR) a plus.\nStrong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to monitor performance metrics and support operational decision-making.\nExperience managing inventory levels, inventory control processes, and material availability.\nKnowledge of logistics coordination, including scheduling, transportation, and delivery management.\nExperience handling customer orders from receipt through fulfillment while ensuring on-time delivery.\nAbility to effectively manage resources and production capacity to meet customer demand and operational goals.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMust have legal authorization to work in the United States.\nWorking knowledge of and ability to use tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, grinders, and other hand tools as required\nAbility to safely use a ladder while performing job duties, as needed.\nAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.\nWhy ABB?\nABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
