This position reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor__
The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC
Your role and responsibilities:
- Provides ongoing feedback to management and recommends improvements related to production line performance, organization, shifting priorities, and emerging critical issues.
- Supports management in executing staffing adjustments due to vacations, illnesses, equipment outages, or shifting production needs.
- Reinforces team focus on achieving production volume targets, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Assists management and shift teams with resource allocation, coordination of shift orders, and oversight of work plan execution across production lines.
- Serves as the shift leader, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely resolution of technical, quality, and logistical issues.
Qualifications for the role:
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of 5S - sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain
- Knowledge and use of necessary PPE
- Ability to use cranes or other lifting devices, as needed
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language
- Basic computer skills to be able to look up parts.
- Ability to maintain accurate hand-eye coordination and utilize both hands safely and efficiently.
- Forklift operation required, including readiness to complete training on various forklift types.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
